Lotus Daycare & Preschool, formerly Miss Cindy's Daycare, is owned and operated by Cindy Myers. Lotus provides state licensed and insured childcare that consistently exceeds all state regulations. Cindy's experience with child care spans back three decades to her first babysitting jobs at 13 years old. After receiving her dual Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood & Special Education from Temple University, Cindy decided to start a daycare program in her home in Pennsylvania. After a few years her family moved to Hamilton County, Indiana in 2008. Since then Cindy has expanded her in-home daycare twice and currently serves three locations in the Hamilton County area.

OUR TEACHERS
Our teachers provide a safe and nurturing environment for each & every child in our care.
Each staff member:
- is CPR Certified
- is Safe Sleep Certified
- is Child Neglect and Abuse Certified
- is Health and Safety Standards Certified
- has a Criminal Record Check
- has a Child Abuse Record Check
- has a 5 Panel Drug Screen
- has a TB Test
- will complete a minimum of 12 hours of additional relevant trainings throughout each calendar year
Each staff member is held to very high standards when it comes to everyday interactions with your child. All teacher-child interactions will be made in a positive manner that will reward acceptable behaviors and positively re-direct unwanted behaviors.
COMMUNICATIONS
Lotus communicates with parents on an ongoing basis each day through the Tadpoles app. Parents can download this app onto any cellular phone. This app allows us to send pictures of your child to you throughout the day & provide a daily report of your child's activities at the close of each day.
